He's gone again!

Well..............got settled in a day early due to Len being so popular with his work buddies. We had to cancel our night in Flagstaff and drove from Santa Fe directly here to Tucson Saturday. The winds were incredible and keeping that Expedition on the road was a feat in itself! But we made it and we or rather, I am here! It's been awhile since we've updated....................let's see...........I saw a Fed Ex truck demolish a turkey?!?!mutant goose?!?!?! All I know that the feathers were flying forever in Kansas and it was horrible for me. Len thought it was funny........Then came Oklahoma....................roads were not as good, speed limit still 70 on a 2 way highway with tons of truckers coming the other way. Kinda tense a couple of times especially when the crosswinds actually blew his antenna off of the roof! I thought we got hit by something and the dogs got sucked out! But made it thru there and not alot to see. Very barren and desolate at times. Then on the way from Santa Fe , I saw those dreaded red lights in my rear view (thank goodness it wasn't for me) but it was a fish and game warden going ahead of us.............came upon God knows what got hit by a truck.............HUGE!!!!!!! It looked like a bull of somekind but don't know what. I'm just grateful it wasn't me. The warden was climbing in the back to get his rifle to put the poor beast out of his misery. Made me VERY cautious to be wary of animals. They grow 'em big out here! We finally got here, couldn't remember where we had put anything............but the weather is absolutely fantastic. And poor Len has to fly back to Rochester today! Ha ha! Think I'll go sunning or maybe I'll just go and purchase a pool! Wouldn't that just torque him?!?!?!?!?!? Only casualty...................Puck seemed to have pulled a groin muscle after finding his "moose" friend............but seems to have recovered a bit. See boys..........better watch how hard you do it! ha ha!!!!!!!!!!! Love and miss everyone. Keep in touch...........gonna be a little lonely for the next week and a half or so but I'm sure I can suffer thru it in 80 degree sunny weather! Me
