Well we made Fort Wayne in good fashion, not much to talk about except the Red Roof Inn, ekkkkkkkkkkkkkkk.
We saw a neat huge pumpkin made out of hay bails , about two stories high, painted orange. could not get the camera out fast enough.
Did get a rainbow in Indiana picture to follow
Dogs are troupers now, Micky only sick once
RAIN RAIN RAIN
Indiana FLATTTTTTT
Going to Des Moines , wrote my sixth grade paper on this city, only took 52 years to visit it.
I am sure things have changed.
Buck found the TFT plant in Indiana
Finally sunny in Illinois
Made it to Des Moines WARM. going foreging for food and booze.
Okay now, it's my turn now that Len is gone foraging. It's been quite a trip so far! Yesterday's drive wasn't bad but last nite was definitely interesting!!!! Staying in pet hotels definitely has its disadvantages as much as I love Puck and Mikaela. Our hotel last nite was in back of a gentlemans club (amateur nite last nite too!) but the clientele coming out at 2am did not sound like they were a bunch of GENTLE men.................the room reminded me of the Bates motel and Len imbibed a little too much wine which meant I ended up in the bathtub with Mikaela to try and drown out his snoring to get 2 hours of sleep before our marathon today! So I was a little anxious to get on the road this morning. However, I didn't realize that I was going to have to navigate through Chicago's 8 lane highway at rush hour in blinding rain!!!!! But I made it (there are a few finger indents in his steering wheel however). So far Iowa seems nice. At least the speed limit is better than in Indiana so I'm a happier trucker. Can't wait to see what the nite brings though.
