Well we are off again, not a great night in NM, dogs were yippy all night, people comming and going , woke up to snow and ice, light dusting, no snow brush left it in Marcellus, no salt trucks crashes all over, have to sit and wait for sun to melt the ice.
Puck still can not figure the elevator and it is neat when you start down and his legs dip down and he can not figure out why.
We got Mickey down to a wisper bark but still wakes us up when she does howl in the middle of the night.
My turn again(P.)........we're sitting in a Denny's waiting for the sun to melt the ice on the roads. The restaurants/stores use water softener salt here to melt ice! Guess they're not used to this kind of weather. Last nite was the nite from Hades..........dogs barking and whining all nite, howling winds.........yeah us!
Well we passed the Rio Grand, not as grand as I expected, Elephant But(te) NM for the boys, Temp up to 48, ice gone. mountains beutiful with snow caps.(photos) This is a good one- we are on Rt 10 W out side o f Los Cruses NM , got funneled off the highway and had to go through a boarder patrol check point... noIi did not get stopped. Taking a beating cuse I have to stop for (you know) Peggy get upset that me and Puck can't hold it. Got a coffee for 42 cents in NM at a pit stop.
Mickey has obtained the knick name of DQ2 (drama queen 2)
