Today we went to our first live professional Rodeo, Phots in slide shoe, More western hats than you could imagin, PITA must hate this sport, but it was great, sunny , beer and horses , This is me at the rodeo, I had to take my own picture cus Peggy wouldn't
Now MY interpretation(ha ha)........actually it was alot of fun but a lot scary too. These men are putting their bodies and lives on the line .............a few close calls on the bull rides............a couple of very mean bulls but no major tragedies that we know of. Len was in his glory with all the hats, chaps and cowboy stuff all over! He SO wanted to buy a portrait of Sam Elliott in a western movie!!! And no........we did not come home with it. We did however find a man who (I'm sure Len will correct me when he comes back) "scroll saws" different images and we bought a crucifix. Whatever the correct terminology is.........it's beautiful and will be gracing a special wall in our "Tucson home". It's still kinda weird to have Len applaud when the announcer asks who lives "here in Tucson"...............
However, as we were walking into the arena, they announced a special trick team who came all the way from...................................AUBURN NEW YORK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yea us!!!
Okay......gotta go make dinner or some semblance of it since the "boss" is leaving tomorrow. So if anyone gets bored at all........you know that I'll be ready to listen to whatever! I'll be here........where else would I be?@?@? And Vin..........if you read this at all..........I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO sorry that I'll be missing your birthday cuz you know that birthdays mean so much to me but suffice to say that I'll try my damndest to make it up when we get home! Love you all and miss you more. P.
Wel we raised the american flag at the Desert Paradise comound today. It flys proudly over the Tucson homestead.
Tomorrow is a red eye east for workk BURRRRRRR
